Why do some hair stylist and make-up artist that give advice looks crappy themselves ?

If some hair stylist gives advice what a person do with a person's hair,when the stylist's has five different colors in and spiked.Why do some hair stylist and make-up artist that give advice looks crappy themselves ?
Because all their time is taken up by making others look good. If they're worth anything, they're constantly busy and don't have a free moment to primp themselves. Besides, if they do a good job, *that* is what keeps them busy, not what they look like themselves.Why do some hair stylist and make-up artist that give advice looks crappy themselves ?
Sometimes you can give advice to someone else better than you can yourself. most good hairstylist can not do their own hair. If you ever noticed all of the best look like the need beautician themselves.
Those that can't, teach.
It is just like mechanics who drive crappy cars, when you do something for other people all day, you tend not to do it for yourself
You know I was wondering the same thing, its just sad. And its even worse if they are the ones that do the stars hair and makeup.
