Practice doing your own make-up, then friends %26amp; family, and then for proms %26amp; weddings. Of course go into cosmetology if you can and get a license for that. Then you may want to go to beauty college or college for business if you'd like to open a salon . Keep in mind there are so many make up artists out there! You have to be original..and alot of make up artists just end up in retail their whole lives.
