How much does it cost to have a professional make up artist do your makeup on your wedding day?

It depends on where you live. I had my makeup done for a family portrait last year and I paid $75.00. I have heard other people say they have paid any where from 25 to 150 dollars. Get a list on places in your area that do makeup, You can do that by using Yahoo locals, or Yahoo yellow pages. call them up and get estaments. Why don't you get in touch with a MARY KAY consultant and they will do some make up training with you for free and then you can try the products !! If you like her you could book her to do your wedding make up . It will cost approx 拢30

I've paid $40 or $50. If you go to a Mac or Lancome counter they'll do it beautifully and its about $35 in purchases so you actually get to keep some of the make up.
I am a make up artist.Usually for the bride I take the equivalent of $40 while for the mother of the bride and the brides maid I take $20 each.Remember it's your wedding.i am sure that you want to be the most beautiful amongst all the ladies.I know it already costs a lot to do a wedding but you'll be satisfied at the end.Just be honest with your make up artist.if you dont like the colors she used or the job as a whole just tell her you're payiong her.Good luck
You should hire someone from MAC to do it......its not expensive and the make up they do is AWESOME!!! my sister had her make done by them and she LOOKED beautiful..I mean she's already beautiful, but the makeup accentuated everything in a great way!!

Hi! You should try a Mary Kay consultant! Just go to Marykay.com and type in your zip and it will show you one near you! They will do it for free and if you like they will do it on your wedding day! Be careful with MAC, they tend to be very dramatic! Not so natural! Good Luck and Happy Wedding!
i know this isn't answering your question...but...


i would just do it yourself, because you don't want to stand out on your wedding day, but look like YOU. normally when someone else does your make-up, they don't get the feeling of who you are, and make you like someone you aren't--it's like wearing a mask.


just wear your ';everyday'; make-up, but maybe apply a different blush or shiny lip gloss. ;-)
