What is the biggest problem make-up artist face?

What problems do makeup artist come across in their profession and how do you believe it can be fixed? What is the biggest problem make-up artist face?
Applying too much makeup. I see some people when they've been professionally made up, and they look like someone applied a gallon of foundation, making it look like they painted their face with spackling compound. Less is more when it comes to make up. A clear moisturizing foundation that dries to a matt finish, easy with the blush or bronzing brush, don't slather on the eye shadow with bold colors, stay towards neautral powdery tones, stay away from products with a greasy shine. Not a ton of eye liner or mascara, is needed to bring out the eyes. Remember, you don't want to look like a racoon. Make sure everything is well blended, so it doesn't look like it's in layers on the skin, but one continuous palet. You have to think of your face as a watercolor, not an oil painting. Create enhancement, not a mask. Bring out your best features, but not to the point that they look cartoonish. Remember , a good make up job, can make your face look good, but it can't make a bad colored , badly cut hairdo look good, or an unflattering outfit. All three have to work to even notice the nice makeup job.
