What could I do to become a make-up artist?

I am fourteen and I want to start pursuing my dream now! I know that I can take cosmetology classes at my highschool, but is there anything else that I can do?What could I do to become a make-up artist?
well once you are 18 you can start doing makeovers at sephora. that would be good for you because then you can learn how to work with different clients and makeup. but for now just keep messing around with your makeup and trying new things :)What could I do to become a make-up artist?
Yeah, take cosmetology classes, and start working at MAC, benefit cosmetics, or somewhere in the macys cosmetics departments. Good luck cosmetology is so much fun!!
Take art classes as well. You'll learn to work with different mediums, different effects, etc. Start selling make-up asap. Avon, Mary Kay, counters at departments stores, where ever.
Try and get a job with Sephora or MAC! you could get some excellent experience at either place. Being MAC trained is a big deal.
Hi! I'm 14 too and I'm working for my future as well! It's cool to see people my age actually caring about their future! ANyway here is an idea:

Contact an in town ';spa'; (any place that does facials normally sells makeup too), and see if they are hiring, or ask to be an intern. Since they specialize in skin you will want to learn as much as possible about skin and makeup!

Good luck! I hope your dream comes true!
